Gautam Rituraj, Ph.D.

Alumni of E-Mobility Lab, Department of EEE, IIT Guwahati-781039, Assam, India.

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft, Netherlands, in DC systems, Energy Conversion and Storage group. Before joining TU Delft, I finished my PhD degree at the Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) Department, IIT Guwahati, India. Here, I worked on various approaches to maximising the transmission efficiency and power transfer capability of the wireless power transfer (WPT) system for EV charging applications, which are well documented in my PhD thesis.

My current research interests include the design and analysis of off-grid EV chargers (plug-in) and standalone microgrid design. It also includes analysing and designing the wireless charging coils and developing the power electronic circuits in the WPT system for charging EVs. Besides that, it consists of the design and development of a smart solar home system with multiple charging strategies for rural areas in India.
